Once upon a time

The origins of the company go back to the forties, a time when it was dedicated to the manufacture of wooden toy trucks combined with details in metal, but it was not until the early 50's that the company was given the name Industrial Juguetera, S.A. (INJUSA).

It was at this stage that the company embarked upon the challenge of manufacturing metal bicycles and tricycles and INJUSA remained the leader of the domestic market in this range of goods for many years. In the decade of the 60's, the company embraced a period of expansion, while maintaining its increasing penetration on a national and international level. Towards the end of the 70's, INJUSA launched a line of jumbo size battery operated vehicles in kit format, and is today the world's leading company in this field.

Now, at the dawn of a new century, the enterprising spirit of the company still continues. It has now diversified its production with a new line of outdoor articles which are expected to please all customers.

Design and development of INJUSA toys

Growing competitiveness and the incorporation of international markets led INJUSA to become totally involved and dedicate all its attention and effort to to Product Design and Development. It is becoming more and more important to cut development time, improve quality, reduce product costs and, above all, satisfy the customer necessities. One of the most advanced techniques being used to achieve these aims is Concurrent or Simultaneous Engineering ("Time Compresión"). This consists of involving all key areas of the company in the design stages so that all elements of the life cycle of the product being designed are taken into consideration from the outset. In design and development, INJUSA uses today's most advanced technology. It was the first company in the sector to begin to use the many different solutions offered by fast prototype technology (Sinterization, Statasys, etc.), and in introducing the latest generation software and hardware into design, development and manufacture (CAD, CAM, CAE).

Technical and productive capacity of INJUSA

As the result of continued effort and the know-how acquired over more than 40 years of experience, INJUSA currently has the most advanced production technology and uses latest generation machinery in all sections:

· Plastic: Plastic injection machines with special devices for part ejection and closing pressures of 85 to 1000 tons.

· Fully automatic blowing machines of up to 250 litre capacity.

· Presses: Powerful presses up to 150 tons.

· Welding: Fully automatic robots ensure perfect welding of the parts.

· Paint: Modern high capacity paint shop.

· Warehouses for finished product: All finished products fully controlled by a modern shelf storage system.
